Hotfixes for Windows XP SP3

If you do not have Service Pack 3 for Windows XP, you can download the update for free from Microsoft.  SP3 requires that you be running at least Windows XP Service Pack 1 to install, so if you are running the original release of Windows XP, you will have to install SP1 (or 2) before you can install SP3.

    There a hotfix which is useful for trouble shooting. According to the file name, it looks like it was included with Service Pack 1, but never was. The hot fix install a utility called QFECheck. It’s a dos utility that check to make sure all hotfixes installed on the system are correct and will tell you if you need to re-install any hotfixes you already have installed.
